Construction of a 12 MeV race-track microtron (RTM) of electrons

The design of this accelerator includes some non-standard technical solutions, like permanent in-vacuum end magnets and an on-axis electron gun with off-axis cathode. An envisaged application of the RTM is irradiation of different types of materials. Currently within this line of activity we work on the development of the accelerator control system and bunker safety system.
