European Joint Doctorates: kickoff meeting at the INTE

INTE was the host of a recent kickoff meeting with representatives of several European universities.

During this productive day, we discussed a potential consortium to apply for a European Joint Doctorate (EJD) program, as part of the Innovative Training Networks in the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions of the European Commission.

The potential proposal will build on our previous success of the Erasmus Mundus European Joint Doctorate program entitled ‘Environomical Pathways to Sustainable Energy Systems’ (SELECT+), which demonstrated the benefits of cooperation between academic institutions and industrial partners for the training of PhD students.
