New members of the INTE

The Institute of Energy Technologies is pleased to welcome four UPC Professors as new members of the INTE:

---

Daniel Crespo, Eloi Pineda and Pere Bruna lead the Group of Characterization of Materials (GCM), studying metaestable and nanocrystalline materials, new and ancient. Focus is given to production processes, microstructural development and properties of materials obtained far from the thermodynamic equilibrium.

On the other hand, Alfredo de Blas is member of the Advanced Nuclear Technologies (ANT) group, which integrates four lines of research that share their relationship with nuclear technology and the basis that support it. These are: thermohydraulics and nuclear safety, nuclear fusion technology, experimental nuclear physics, and nuclear instrumentation, of which Alfredo is in charge.

During the last Council meeting, the Institute formally approved their incorporation as Professors linked to the INTE. Welcome aboard!
